The SaaS market is growing up to six times faster than the overall software market. Market analyst firm IDC says SaaS deployments in the Asia-Pacific region totalled US$298 million in 2008, a growth rate of 18%. Australia and New Zealand account for more than 45% of this market, IDC says.
For resellers and systems integrators, SaaS presents an opportunity to deliver world-class products and capabilities to customers at a fraction of the cost of traditional licensed software and with more attractive margins.
